We know Fontana homes.
Fontana’s two halves age differently. Downtown and the southern grid carry post-war and mid-century homes — older ducts, older insulation, systems stacked on generations of previous systems. North Fontana’s newer tracts carry the opposite profile: big homes, big systems, and first-generation equipment now crossing into the replacement window.
The wind off the Cajon Pass is Fontana’s signature weather guest — relentless for HVAC. It loads filters and condenser coils with grit, works loose anything that isn’t strapped, and pushes fine dust into attic duct joints. The filter cadence that works in a sheltered city doesn’t survive a Fontana fall.
Fontana is on the daily map — Sierra Lakes to the downtown grid to the San Sevaine side — and wind-season maintenance calls are a local specialty.
